Foxes United FC started the way a lot of good things do: with a few dads from the school gate who wanted to give their kids a proper kick about. We booked a hall, brought a bag of balls and let the children play.
Word soon got round. Every week a few more children turned up, and it quickly became clear this was more than a casual game. That’s when Kishan Chavda had the idea of turning it into a proper club, one that was safe, welcoming and open to everyone, whatever their ability.
Today Foxes United FC is a volunteer run, non profit community club, run by a committee under a written constitution, with every penny going back into the club. We run U12 mixed sessions and adult sessions on alternate Wednesdays, and our motto sums up what we’re about: together we play, together we grow, and it’s all just for kicks.
